Our client needed a platform where the user can view, create or support health related fundraisers. The users should be able to choose from a variety of fundraising options such as organizing an event, celebrating a milestone, campaigning for a cause, paying tribute and training with purpose.
Avangarde Software delivered a fundraising platform with a powerful calendar which gathers and shows all the fundraising events from WordPress and Classy API. The WordPress website uses custom fields to fully change all icons, images and text of the website from the admin area. A powerful search functionality is used to find all the events from Classy API and wordpress posts.
During this project we followed an Agile approach, with daily Skype reports on the task plan for that day and three weekly calls with the client on gotomeeting. We used Jira for issue management and github + vagrant to push our code.
